Max Amini

Max Amini is an Iranian-American director, producer, and world-touring comedian. Born in Tuscon, AZ and raised on the east coast, he graduated from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television in 2004. While still at school, Max began performing stand-up comedy at the LA Improv. His exceptional abilities in improvised and observational comedy made him a standout performer and he quickly built a reputation as one of the fastest growing comedians in the Los Angeles comedy circuit. Impressed with Max’s popular performances and steady career growth, the world-famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood made him a resident comic in 2007.

Never setting aside his passion for film and television, Max continued to pursue directing and producing as his global comedy career progressed. In 2010, Max established his production company and began creatively producing and directing television series, comedy specials and films. More recently, Max directed a Netflix original stand-up special, Enissa Amani: Erhenwort, the film James The Second, and has sold to networks like Discovery, Voice of America and more. Amini has appeared on shows such as NBC’s Heroes, Netflix’s Real Rob with Rob Schneider, and Comedy Central’s Mind of Mencia, has garnered multiple hour-long comedy specials and continues to tour and perform around the world.
